Stewardship Testimony

Hi I just read "The Amazing Prosperity of Truth" by Al Taylor. I just wanted to write and thank you for having it posted on the site. I was beginning to wonder about how my beloved church of God was dealing with the "prosperity" gospel.

I have encountered several ministers in the church lately who are very into the "faith movement." My husband and I are transferring to a different church because of our new pastor's teachings on it. To us, the Bible is clear, and we are to "turn away" from such teachings.

I have been so disturbed by the recent flocking of ministers in the denomination to these teachings that I have even considered leaving the church of God. And my husband is a minister in the church. So again, although I wish that more could be done to tame this beast in the church; I have a renewed faith in the church after what I have just read.
